Viral Radio at ARCOmadrid

Viral Radio is delighted to have been invited by ARCOmadrid and Dutch curator Xander Karskens for the afterARCO programme on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 February.

Dutch artist and Viral Radio regulars Knalpot, Machinefabriek and Juha will play live at Joy Eslava in the evenings, and on Friday a special radio broadcast will be made with artist Gabriel Lester, most of the musicians, and some other Dutch artists present at ARCOmadrid, hosted by Viral Radio founder Juha van ‘t Zelfde.

This is the first show on Red Bull Music Academy Radio. It marks the return of our show, that is in its fourth year now. In this time it has gone from the early stages of dubstep (Kode9, Digital Mystikz, Loefah), through experimental beat music (Flying Lotus, Dimlite, Hudson Mohawke) up to the point that every artist is his own genre. This is where we stand now, navigating the map of new developments in electronic music.
