To celebrate our international friends from L.A., Vienna and Glasgow, we have decided to spontaneously organise a Beat Dimensions special at the Flexbar tonight. From 10 to 3 you can hear the most imaginative music from the electronic realm. As epic as it gets, we are as privileged all of the artists are participating in this allstar line up: Hudson Mohawke, Gaslamp Killer, Dorian Concept, The Colonius, Mamiko Motto, Aardvarck and Juha & Cinnaman. We hope to see you all tonight to look back on a memorable 5 days off festival.

The third show is online at 3voor12 now and up for download, podcast and stream. A bit messy in the beginning, but that is what you get when swine flu breaks out in times of recession. You can now listen to the upgraded Viral Radio of April 2008 on Last FM and at our home Lijn5.com. In the second season, Viral will be joined by the inceptor of the Beat Dimensions series Cinnaman. The sound has evolved from primarily bass-laden music to a more wide range of brain-tingeling electronica and experimental beats.
In this month’s show you can hear new and unreleased track from Flying Lotus, Samiyam, Zomby, Rustie, Kode9, Darkstar, Martyn and Dorian Concept, and some older ones from Clark and Alog.
Viral Radio launched in March 2007 as a monthly show on public radio to follow developments in dubstep and future dub music. It has since then organised two events at club 11 in 2007 and 2008, with artists as Rhythm & Sound w/ Tikiman, Pinch, 2562, Peverelist, Kromestar, Mala and Rustie.
